Paramount Trailers CC was established in February 1997 by Fernando Marques. Fernando
currently has over 25 years of experience in the trailer manufacturing and refurbishing
business. His son Warren joined the company in 2004 and is currently fulfilling
the role of Managing Director.
Our offices and factories are based in Alrode South close to the Johannesburg CBD,
and we currently have a staff complement of 60 well trained and experienced employees.
Paramount Trailers started manufacturing by targeting the flat deck market, focusing
specifically on triaxles and superlinks. Over the years the range was extended to
other commercial trailers such as skeletal trailers, stepdeck trailers and more
recently, tippers. This extension of our product range was driven mainly by the
demand from our growing customer base.
Paramount Trailers aims to develop and maintain excellent relationships with our
customers. This affords us the opportunities to communicate with our customers to
ensure that we build trailers according to their specific needs. Paramount Trailers
adds value to all our customers’ businesses and the affordability of our products
will ensure above average returns. We believe that personal service is the key to
success.
In addition we are striving towards
- providing a service that is recognised as top tier in the Southern African market,
- to manufacture trailers that are affordable whilst maintaining effectiveness, and
- to maintain the highest ethical standards in the conduct of our business.
As we look back on our humble beginnings and our journey over the last ten years,
we are incredibly proud of our product and of our success and continued growth.
We now have three manufacturing facilities with the fourth factory due for completion
in January 2008.
We remain committed to South Africa and continue to strengthen our position in the
Southern African market place.
